Guests have exclusive use of the chauffeur-driven vehicle, which can cater for either an individual, or small groups of up to 7 passengers. Additionally, shore excursions are available from Invergordon and other ports for cruise line passengers to make the most of their time ashore.
Should you wish a longer journey around our breath-taking country, Highland Chauffeur Drive can also provide extended tours throughout Scotland, extending for up to 7 days, often starting from either Edinburgh or Glasgow with return.

Whether it is sightseeing, exploring historic castles, ancestry, whisky tours, golfing or any of the many delights the Highlands and Islands can offer, Highland Chauffeur Drive are there to transport you in total comfort and safety.
Their chauffeurs are invariably highly experienced at private touring, have a polite and informative manner, as well as a wide knowledge of the local area. Sightseeing tours can include visits such as Cawdor Castle near Nairn, Urquhart Castle on the north shore of Loch Ness, Eilean Donan Castle situated by the picturesque village of Dornie on the main tourist route to the Isle of Skye, on which Dunvegan Castle, the historic seat of the Clan Macleod can also be visited.
There is also a great range of distilleries available to visit across the Highlands, Morayshire and Historic Banffshire, including those of the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail.
Highland Chauffeur Drive has been successfully providing a number of regular Tours to iconic and other destinations throughout and beyond the Highlands for many years. These Tours have an agreed destination, however the route can usually be modified as necessary to meet the varying interests of their clients’ en route. Most are Day Tours, starting and ending at the client’s Hotel or other accommodation, which is usually in or around Inverness.
Such Tours radiate in virtually all directions from Inverness.
Going North, Dunrobin Castle, John o’ Groats, Castle of Mey, Durness, Highland Region Whisky Tours, Strathpeffer, North Coast 500 sections, etc are all popular, with Tour times being from 8 hours upwards. The famous Highland Tweed House is worth a visit in Beauly, where Henry Phipps was a regular visitor.
Going generally South, Balmoral Castle, Speyside Region Whisky Tours, Dundee V&A, St Andrews, Oban, etc all feature. This direction also has Outlander links. During filming, the horses were liveried at Alvie Stables. Why not make time for a memorable trek into the hills.
Going East, the Speyside Whisky Trail makes for a great day out, with a visit to the Speyside Cooperage being highly recommended. There are always Castles to be seen on any of their routes, some well known, and some less so. The Moray Coast also has lots of interest. For Cashmere and Vicuna lovers, the Johnstons of Elgin Tour is a must.
Finally, going West, Skye is a hugely popular destination, be it to the North West, East or South of the Island. Castles, Distilleries, wildlife and beautiful scenery are all there. Plockton is a simply fabulous nearby fishing village. Different routes to and from the West add to the interest. Fort Augustus, Fort William, and Mallaig also have lots of interest, with return by Foyers, or even Aviemore if time permits.
